Prior to founding Catania, Ray had 15 years of experience in mechanical design in Government and Commercial sectors. Ray’s unique skills blend Mechanical Engineering and Industrial Design to make user-centric, artistic and functional products.  His work focuses on design challenges involving complex geometries and surface modeling. With nearly two decades of design experience in both defense and commercial sectors, he has led products from idea through product launch for over 100 companies. Ray’s successful designs have been used in space, the seafloor, and everywhere in between.
